Our Educational Approach

At Three Trails Preschool, we believe in educating the whole child. Social Emotional Learning (SEL) is an essential part of our curriculum, helping children develop skills like self-regulation, empathy, and initiative. To support these skills, we use Conscious Discipline, a research-based framework that promotes a safe, connected, and empowering classroom community.

Our academic curriculum is guided by Creative Curriculum, which encourages children to learn through hands-on investigations and exploration. Our students engage in thematic investigations such as Trees, Water, and Building to name a few. Through these investigations, children develop critical thinking skills that will serve them through their whole education career.

At Three Trails, students also learn self-help skills such as passing bowls at the meal table, scooping food onto their plate, washing their hands, brushing their teeth, and cleaning up after themselves. All of these skills are taught through a hands-on learning approach.
